 1/350 scale plastic model assembly kit recreating the Kagero, lead ship of the class named for her which fought on the front line for the Japanese Navy from the early stages of the Pacific War. Length: 338mm, width: 31mm. Features left/right hull pieces with fine depiction of hull panel joints and degaussing cable. Photo-etched parts recreate funnel mesh, loop antenna, paravane crane, propeller guards, ladders and more. Metal anchor chains and propeller shafts provide a highly realistic air. Clear parts are used to depict bridge windows and searchlight lenses. Superstructures feature crisp molding for a detailed finish. ABS resin parts are used for masts and flag poles, with a jig provided to ensure proper assembly of tripod mast parts. Poly caps in parts such as main gun positions, torpedo tubes and rudder allow natural movement.
